Raw Riff of the Month (RRotM)#44 - Chat

Here's the 44th Raw Riff of the Month (RRotM) Challenge.

The challenge is now open, and remains open for submissions until midnight 23rd September 2019.

RAW Riff of the Month (RRotm) is different to the other (RotM) riff challenge because you are only allowed to submit a recording with one layer of guitar, but you can use standard guitar effects such as wah, distortion, delay, modulation etc. This is all about one amazing riff and nothing else.

All you have to do is write a riff.
Record it with one layer of guitar (standard guitar effects are also permitted)
Aim to keep it to a maximum of 50 seconds. This is about riffs, not songs.

Include your forum name in the email.

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline, with each voter selecting their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.
First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point. The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends.

No prizes. It's just for fun.

As people submit their entries, I'll post them below to hopefully promote some discussion on approaches used.

Just a reminder about Raw Riff of the Month (RRotM). The deadline has been extended a couple of times on this one, so I might have to knock it on the head (or combine it with Riff of the Month) if there's no interest.

To hopefully set the ball rolling, I've done my entry to RRotM, which is in the playlist in the original post at the start of this thread.

As there's only one entry (from me ) there won't be any voting. I plan to roll Raw Riff of the Month and Riff of the Month into one challenge next month. I'll use my RRotM entry for my entry to the new combined challenge.

I'll separate the two challenges again in future, if the number of entries pick up.
