Anybody using a Palmer PAN01?

I'm wondering if anybody here is using the passive Palmer DI.

Do you place it before the amp or between head and cabinet?

Palmer claims it can be used between head and cab and wondering if that's more beneficial in a live situation.

Thinking of getting one.

As an aside, the last time I used a DI at a show it was provided by the venue there was no "through" so I used the other input of my Sound City as an unbalanced output into the DI. I was surprised it worked and know to use that method if using a similar DI in the future.
