I love these sorts of shows. George Clarke's Amazing Spaces is one I've been watching a lot too to get some ideas.
Particularly interested in one of those Fender/Marshall/Gibson/Gretsch/etc. Bar stools you see in all the guitar shops.
Be careful not to accidentally activate that Stargate, or you'll lose all your gear in the vortex...

They're not exactly cheap. I bought one for my son for Christmas the other year. He's only just started learning guitar but he always used to be drawn to these stools whenever he was with me on visits to music stores.
At 5m x 3m your room sounds quite generous to me. From memory I'm at 3.6m x 2.5m. The important thing is not the size, it's the fact that it's your room.
I'm more concerned at the workstation ergonomics.
D minus, must try harder.
Not criticising, just concerned
Got the razor strop right though
2.2m x 2.5m is what I'm working with. Going to be a tight squeeze methinks
It is my 7th studio in as many countries and currently packed up ready for a move back to the UK.
If I had to strip it back to as little as possible I'd get a fast computer a good audio interface and some decent monitors, plus a few instruments.
The rest is window dressing really, although everything was bought for a reason.
