Yup...  they went and did it...  I will miss all the 80s music... I like the flight sequences in the original. I would imagine that even if the rest of the film is total crap, those bits will still be good

Am excited. The original came out when I was 14 and for a plane obsessed kid was the most exciting thing ever. And that big kid is still there inside and looking forward to this.

Here here.....   I was in the Air Cadets when I was 13 in the 80s...  LOVED it...

Never seen the original film. Cruise is a cocky arse and I never fancied Kelly mcGillis. I can only sit through that kind of garbage if I fancy the lead woman. Seen bits of it when other people had it on. I do like the Steven/Faltermeyer theme though.
