Took her to the vet for first course of vaccinations and worm and flea medicine and called her Batman there... The receptionist there made me wait for the meds and when it was time, I thought I heard her call 'Buttman'; I asked them to repeat the name to be sure... (The second time I heard Batman)... That made me wonder about the name Batman.

When she goes back for her 2nd course of vaccinations, she'd be old enough to be micro chipped...
I'd love to pick a cool/suitable name for her by then.

We have a cat called Led. Our oldest cat Tasha had three kittens and my daughter, then about 10, said she wanted to call them Led, Zep and Lin. We kept Led and later she had three kittens and we named them after the top four golfers in the world at the time - Tiger, Goose, Vijay, Leftie - and we kept Vijay, so now we have three of ‘em... Bloody cats!

For some reason, my friend who got me the kitten thought 'Jungle Cat' was a racist name for this cat, but lol'd at Mewhummid (Mewhummid would be a done deal if this was a tomcat/boy kitten, but it's not).
My brother thought Mars Bar (because she looks like a squished up UK Mars Bar in marking and her fur colouring)... (She also looks like a squished up US Milky Way bar but that's because to me they kind of look the same - the fact I've seen two names for this confectionery in two different parts of the globe made me not want to call her Milky Way in the US)... - was racist.
My friend, the night I got her, that night she bought her after buying her for me said
'don't name the cat based on what it looks like, but find one in bonding/getting to know the cat.'

I'm now thinking 4 or 5 letter names so the name can fit on labels better.

Had this with one of ours. The other was called "Nina" by the shelter and we stuck with that, this one was called "Stir fry" and we weren't having that. I insisted we name her after whisky, So we ended up with either "Jura" or "Tallie" (Talisker). Wife preferred Tallie so why don't you use Jura? Job Done.
