Butchered Richie Sambora USA Strat on Ebay

Just did a search for a USA RS Strat on Ebay in case there was anything and came across this:

Why on earth would anybody butcher something to make it inferior? What a shame. If it was cheap enough I'd have been tempted to buy it and try to get it back to stock.

I think the most important ingredients - neck, body and pickups, are still there.
Try negotiating the price if you reallt want it.

Do folks who use Floyds worry about such things as intonation? I thought it was all about making noises like a moose in labour while grimacing and gurning at the audience ;-)

He’s reduced the price from £1650 to £1100 now...

I can’t understand why somebody would remove an original Floyd Rose and put a licenced replacement? And as somebody above said what’s happened to the frets at the top end?
