That top one is Angel's Landing in Zion national Park, Utah.

I've been there many times, and have always wanted to do that hike... but as I'm scared of heights, I back off at the last minute.

Incidentally, it's a stunning place if anyone ever gets the chance to visit (as is Bryce Canyon, which is nearby).

Why is the walkway there? Looks like steps cut into the rock.
Originally this sort of thing was constructed during World War I to help troops move around; Italy and Austria were on opposing sides and waged war across the Alps.e

That's interesting. Imagine doing it at night with full army gear!

I've seen another video of someone climbing that, but not unicycling :o. The metalwork really does not look in great condition.

This one is also pretty mind blowing. Even taller chimney (tallest in Europe) and even narrower at the top, they climbed it in the dark to watch the sunrise and took a drone up there to fly. Jump to 10.50 if you want to cut to the the top. (warning; contains a lot of 'bro' talk).

It's interesting to find out what Zlatan Ibrahimovic does on his days off.

I think all these people are lunatics but what they do is amazing.  These clips are fascinating to watch.

The original, and still the best.
Rickety wooden ladders, no risk assessment, and flared trousers!

I remember watching that at the time.  Weirdly, although it definitely had a "wow" factor, it didn't seem like anything particularly risky or scary.  I guess it just never crossed my mind that anything bad could possibly happen on Blue Peter.

    Now it looks fucking terrifying.

^^ That's insane! I've got a feeling I saw that as a child, although I would have only been two in 1977. Would like to have seen how they got those ladders up there, particularly that one that leans outwards o .  John Noakes was hardcore!
