I knew Aspen of old from the 80's - Use to see quite  a bit of him - Great guy to chat about gear and have a few beers - Offered me somewhere to stay if I came over to California, but sadly never made it  - He purchased an original Blues Breaker combo from me sometime in the early 80's and mentioned me and it in one of his books

Great guy - I've not seen him for many years now but recall he was one of the good guys - RIP
