My tele partsacaster is finally complete.

It has the baja tele pickups, switching and loom installed.

Looks beautiful.  And, spookily, I'm in the middle of something similar.  Body and neck from Graham, neck is flame roasted maple but with a rosewood board.  Had a dry fit and setup at Feline and the body is now with Rich!

I've oiled the neck and it's now looking and feeling great.  I haven't waxed it - what difference did that make to yours, and what wax did you use?

See I rather like that green... Still, the end result is absolutely stunning, congrats!

Currently in the early stages of discussing a neck build with Graham and did not know he did roasted maple/flamed maple. This changes things, I think!

    Thanks for the comments.

I finished the back of the neck with tru-oil and briwaxed the back and fretboard, pretty much as the thread here: https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/138658/

I used Briwax furniture wax, which makes the neck super smooth and slippy.

It seems like a fretboard team effort.

In that vain, if you'd like me to relic it, send it round for 20 years and I'll see what I can do.
