Hi. I've just refinished my LP. Am about to scrape teh binding but I wanted to check how others have gone about it. Specifically, once youve scraped the paint from the binding, do you then feather the paint a bit with v.fine w&d or do you just clearcoat and the edge of the paint "melts" into the topcoat?

Be sure to over-aggressively scrape the binding so as to create a lip between the fingerboard binding and the guitar neck. That way it will be like an 'authentik' Les Paul.
