TRADED: 1994 Ralph Bown 12 fret 00

Martin style, 12 fret 00 guitar built by Ralph Bown in 1994.  Malaysian Blackwood back and sides. European spruce top. Slotted and bound headstock, bound ebony fingerboard and a Brazilian rosewood pyramid bridge. Nut width is 1 7/8 inches while string spacing at the saddle is 2 3/8 inches. Fitted LR Baggs undersaddle transducer. The guitar comes with a Hiscox case. Delivery by courier by mutual agreement

Can't remember. I know that you came to look at the Huss and Dalton. I may have shown you a couple of my other guitars. Brain gone a bit slack I'm afraid!

I remember playing a Bown, but I'm not sure if it was this one. Is it a short scale with a pronounced v profile neck?

No, that's the Bown BB6. Headstock inlay, sitka and Indian rosewood. Did you like it?

As far as I remember I didn't like the neck much. I like a chunky neck and a long scale. I played a Bown 000 once in Brighton and it was just wonderful, I regret not buying it and a Bown has been on my list ever since. However, I really don't need another guitar, so I'm not going to compromise on the specs. Let me know if you think this one might suit me, and if you haven't sold it in the meantime, I'll try to visit when all these restrictions end.

No worries. The Bown 00 neck has a slimmer profile than the H&D that you played, if that's any help..

Thanks. I have played a few Bowns with chunkier necks so I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for eventually
