WTB: 1965 Strat or earlier refin

Hi All, 

I'm looking to buy a vintage strat. Specifically one from 1965, but I may also be interested in 64 and earlier guitars with a refin. 66-68 examples could be interesting as well.
The more provenance/known history the better of course. I am totally ok with well performed refrets, replaced nuts and play wear on the guitar. Preferably mostly original parts though and no major repairs.

If you have anything for sale that fits the description, please message me! I have cash waiting for the right guitar!

Wow ! One of the first in the UK then. That was the year the embargo was lifted. Probably around 120 guineas in those days. I bought one of the last pre CBS ones in '65 for 169 guineas.
