I don't think it was wholly meant as a comedic moment; I took it to show that he's still a 'child', and much like human babies, he'll eat anything.

I did have to laugh at his face in the beginning after Mando ignited the jetpack though....

Could we be leading to a Baby Yoda heel turn...?

I did think the whole heads following he jetpack thru the sky thing was quite slapstick, enjoyed that.

I thought episode one was a bit of a sideways diversion and the season only really getting going with two. I’m not all that bothered about the Star Wars universe but do like the Mandalorian.
