Logic Pro X Problems - Sorted

Hoping one of the fine gents here might be able to assist me?

I have a MaBookPro running Logic Pro X with a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 (2nd Gen) and also a Saffire Pro 24 (not at the same time). Mac is Running Mohave 10.14.5 and Logic is the latest version.

Up until a month ago everything worked absolutely fine. However I have come to use it for tracking and suddenly Logic is not 'seeing' the output of the Scarlet at all - it's seeing the input but won't record anything. It will allow me to select the I/O of the Pro24 but I get no audio from it and none showing as playing in the Logic meters.

I've uninstalled Logic, reinstalled and restarted but still the same problem.

Any known issues or ideas of what I may be doing wrong??

Do you mean it isn't seeing the Scarlett as an output in your audio settings or that the track you are trying to record to isnt getting a signal from the Scarlett?

It isn’t seeing the Scarlett as an output in the audio settings, it sees the input but still won’t record.

Post a screen shot of your track settings and a screen shot of the audio prefs...

also so check your system prefs as sometimes that overrides logic

Thanks for the comments and messages, i've sorted it, had to delete some .kext files off the Mac which refreshed the interface settings. Found the solution on the Focusrite website so it's obviously a common issue.
