@BeardyAndy supplied the White MIM Scratchplate in the photo above

Along with a Steel block Wilkinson Trem and other assorted parts from the cupboard of plenty we have a build!!

Normally I would do a dry run build then paint, but Steve has done a cracking job, loop North starring some CAR over a Sunburst with a Yard Broom....very nice it is too, so I started by marking scratch plate and Jack plate hole positions with masking tape, fitted the neck, lined up the trem, then set the scratchplate in place and spotted through the screw holes with a felt tip pen....then used a bradawl to mark the centre of each hole.

Then I drilled the holes and countersunk the a little, while the countersink was in the chuck I countersunk the previously drilled trim screw holes that are done by Guitarbuild about 2mm deep, this help prevent chipping when drilling the holes to size....which was done next.....

I then fitted the Scartchplate, neck, trim and Jack Plate loosely in place

End of day one.....
