Opinions on this mix? It's an instrumental Raga track, featuring samples of traditional instruments and a bunch of obscure Eastern scales. Just need a little objectivity on the mix quality https://soundcloud.com/fc1985/elephant-head-extended

Overall mix seems ok. During the sparse portions, the panning seems a little extreme with the sitar and percussion panned hard left and right respectively (I'm on headphones). I guess it depends on the purpose of the piece. I'm sure it'll sound fine if played over speakers. 

are you EQ-ing the top end quite heavily? I kind of expect a little more clarity in the strings, but that could be due to the samples used in the first place. Overall the track sounds a little dull (tone-wise) to me. 

All instruments, in particular the Harmonium sounds good. I can't figure out what the instrument at 11:32 is but it sounds pretty artificial compared to the rest of the track.

Do you mind sharing where you got the samples from? I may need to do an indian piece soon as well and I'm very impressed by this!
