I ran my first pedal building class today, was quite nervous that it would be a disaster, that transistors would be fried, that board traces would be removed, that people would hold the hot end of the iron, that coffee would run out....
Except non of that happened, all 5 pedals built worked great (after a little bit of tweaking) and everyone had a great time and learned something along the way.
I am sure there are other offering build classes. Rift / Vyse etc. look them up, it is a really good way to work through the basics of soldering and assembly... enough to make you dangerous anyway!

I presume all the pupils will now be bringing out their own pedal range? (joke).
Where are you, I wouldn't mind having a go?
