I need to buy a car as I have a company car and I will be retiring at the end of this year, so.................

I contacted the lease company, they gave me a price to purchase said company car and I accepted.

You do realise that protocol states you should have grown tired of said purchase, due to some unforseen trait of the vehicle by now, and be asking for suggestions to a suitable replacement that you can totally ignore.
