Charity "live" music showcase

Did sound and close out set at a charity music event organised by a friend who is a part time local jock. Of course 3 of the "acts" are young ladies singing to backing tracks. None of them had their own mic and one was streaming from youtube which is a bit of a problem if the wifi is dodgy. Lovely girls and they sang like angels but it ain't live in my book. The last act before us "Alysha" had her own mic and a pleasant young man playing acoustic guitar really aced it, she had much more stage presence and banter.

I also liked a young girl who played earlier with acoustic guitar (remarkably good sounding orange Gretsch) and a looper.
