LP special experts pop in please

I've recently seen a coupla ( '93 & '97 ) LP specials for sale, cherry twin P90s, bound FB and factory fitted Grover kidneys

anyone any info on these guitars at all.....Good guitars,rosewood neck for instance?

Yes they are great guitars (I've owned a few) and the fretboard will be rosewood.

I have a '97 (coincidentally, just posted a pic in the 'test posts' thread).  Recently, I've realised that the P90s may actually be P100s.  And I think the pots have a linear taper, too - I have to turn down to 4-5 to clean up significantly.  Nice guitar - but I may be looking to upgrade the pickups and wiring, though.

P-100s in the single cut, P-90s in the double cut.

Those older Specials are nice guitars, though I recently played a 2019 Special which had the potential to be a great guitar except for the ropey fret job on it. Nice light guitar, thin nitro finish, decent P90s but a fret job that you would would be disappointed to encounter on a sub-200 quid guitar

They're fantastic guitars, the fretboards are rosewood and the pickups are p100'S.
At least on the ones I've owned. I could do with another one.

My uncle has a 97 special, it has P100s, slim neck and Nashville bridge. Depends if you want traditional specs. Personally I am an enemy of progress. Bring back hanging!
