That's me ... I've owned lots of modellers but hate the menus and endless options. A pedal with the simplicity of an amp is ideal for me. Easy to get a great tone and tweak in minutes.

Another +1 from me too even though they’re actually putting me off the Iridium - just doesn’t sound special enough for the money for me. Great videos regardless though!

thanks. In comparison with all the floor units, the vox mode on this seem to be the closest to a real AC. To the point that it could make the amp obsolete if the feel is good as well.

@Dominic thanks dude! This week was a bit stupid just trying to get lots of stuff about the Iridium out there before lots of other channels so it's not really my "best" (whatever that means) but I'm glad you enjoyed. I've filmed a couple more bits with @ThorpyFX 's wonderful Veteran and so on so you might catch some of that on my channel if you wanted to subscribe!

ok so I threw this little thing together this morning.

It's Iridium "Chime" first, then Helix "Fawn" then both together. I quite like all of the tones to be honest..

Great stuff - Really does show that if you cant get a good sound out of one of the latest modellers then the problem is the player, or in your case not   They both sound great

I've been saying this for years.

@digitalscream @John_A I've been a heavy modeller user since the pod xt live so I guess I've had a while to get used to them. 

I'd say the iridium is decent for a plug and play option - obviously the helix is capable of loads but it's a bit more complicated...that is unless you start trying to do midi stuff with the iridium..

cheers, both sound very good and amp like.
 Had many ac30's through the years and the iridium really nails the ac30 tone where the helix doesn't sound typically voxy on that setting.
