I’m not very familiar with his work but I’ve seen odd clips over the years and he seemed an affable chap. RIP.

My mother loved the late late show. She'd watch the hour of highlights on channel 4 whenever she could, so I used to see a fair bit of it too. He was a great mix of Wogan, Parkinson, Pacman etc. He could do it all. A sad loss.
