Tim at Sound Affects has done this a few times. Whilst he’s a nice guy, and an obvious guitar enthusiast, he’s also a very good businessman.  If the high street music store (ok, the Ormskirk branch is on an industrial estate) is going to survive it needs people like Tim who are always looking to do things a bit differently.

I tried that with a Knaggs, wouldn’t budge on price.

I'm keeping my eye on the Jazzmasters, but I dunno if I'll get over to Liverpool to try them before the sale runs out (which is either a good or a bad thing, depending on whether you are my bank account or not)
