SOLD - Klein Epic 54 Stratocaster Pick up

These are really lovely pick ups, the only reason I'm selling is because I have replaced with a set of 59's.

Although there are two middle pick ups they are not reverse wound and I had these as a set in my Strat, but there were phase issues with the bridge this is due to the polarity of the magnets but I switched the wires . Here is some info I got from writing to Klein:

The pickups are not RWRP unless the customer ordering them requests RWRP.  In that case, they can be RWRP.  Also pickups wound prior to 1959 had pickups with magnetic north polarity, after 1959 the pickups had magnetic polarity south.   This can cause a phase issue.   A thin sound is an out of phase sound.

Having all 3 pickups from the same year, middle pickup NON RWRP, in this case, yes any pickup can be placed in any position.  When one begins mixing and matching pickups from different years and from different polarities, there can be phase issues.
