Looks Like Another Store Closure - Dave Mann Nottingham

Working all day today at Aintree at the Liverpool Guitar Show - 1st chat I pick-up at 9am was had I heard anything about Dave Mann Music in Nottingham - Note their web site now states 'permanently closed' - I don't have a facebook account but apparently a message on there as well

A shame if true as always had a good reputation as a specialist acoustic guitar school - Old school, family business and an independent just trying to do a good job

The location killed them off. Mansfield Road is dying. The Maze, Jermy & Western books. They’ll be nothing left soon.

Not heard anything yet that has triggered the closure - So unsure if voluntary for whatever reason or a situation that has been forced on them - Any updates from anyone ?

Haven’t heard although I’m not local to the shop. I did however buy a really nice Gibson from them at one time and have to say it was a great experience. Acoustics only as I recall and you had to be buzzed in a locked door. Shame if it’s gone, I’ve been back at least once since and would certainly buy from them again.
