Star Wars Archives: 1977-1983 book - any good?

My eledest daughter is Star Wars mad, looking at getting her the Star Wars Archives: 1977-1983 book for Christmas, it looks a hefty tome, has anyone got it? is it any good?

I was after this last year when it was announced, looked amazing. Didn't justify it in the end, but would love to see it in the flesh. I imaging most of it is available online in various places, lots of shots of the models/sets/matte paintings are out there, but it looks like a really nice book to have.
