  • "Seller refurbished".

Ebay allow this, and this is why I hate them.

Move it back four feet and it's in the right place.

Sh*tocaster is about right! I'm not sure I'd pay £8.25 for it.
I like that the breakdown of what he's spent on parts includes shipping and taxes, but not that they're all second hand (and "reliced") now.
Why isn't the neck pickup wired in?
Why is there a selector switch in the middle pickup slot?
    Just WHY??!!

I quite like the neck, but nothing else.

He's spent all that money and created a complete mutt. I almost feel sorry for him.

He's just copied EVH's Frankenstein, hence the coin too.

Yeah I can sort of see the thought process that led to him thinking this was a “cool mashup” idea but ultimately, it is terrible

Fair enough. I've just googled it & see what he did there... still don't like it though!

With a few nods to SRV in the colour, gold hardware and "Custom" sticker.

I quite like it.  Although the coin, 5150 stickers and reflector thingy on the back are going a bit too far.

  • Hate that big capo around the 10th fret

If it fell off it could make a mess of the finish.

Only good for firewood - as the owner has clearly agreed by the photos.

I'm just about to list a guitar with some cosmetic damage and have been gutted that my mistake in causing the damage has lost me so much off the potential price.

Maybe I should just totally fuck it up and sell it for more than I was planning to in the first place!

Don't see why it wouldn't be allowed, it's not like they're claiming it's in good condition then you receive that - if the pics show the reality of it then why not?

  • Somewhere in the UK, Cleartone Conversions sees the guitar in the OP and starts sweating profusely.

It seems the greatest guitar maker in the UK has some competition at last....

Like how he has put covers on the stand so as to not mark the finish ;)
