Ive just tried the HDR setting on my camera for the first time, but I dont seem to be able to lower the exposure, can this be done? Canon 800D.

Thanks Dave, I will have another play with it tonight, the lights seem to be blurred rather than sharp and I suspect this might be because of the HDR bracketing being too wide.

Although I have never used HDR before so I was not entirely sure what to expect. I checked the camera again and it was set to HDR Vivid so that might be why , I will go through some more settings again tonight.

  • I used to have to bracket manually years ago then put the pics in a program called photo aria to blend them together. I used to have a program called Lucas art which was great too
