    There’s a YouTube link by each one. There is on the link I followed anyway. Assuming that part of what makes a good solo is how it fits within the track then twenty guitar solos edited out of context of the original songs would be a bit pointless.

    For me the best solo was Guthrie on Steve Wilson's Drive Home, which I'm glad to see was voted #2. It was just inspired and downright gorgeous. A bonafide masterpiece.

    Looks an intriguing list, I shall certainly be listening to them at some point. The one thing that I can say for sure is that Guthrie's Drive home solo is a nailed on classic.
