Just kitting out a space for demo production and need a decent (but preferably cheap) PC.

Will be using a Behringer UCM1820 interface so it will need to be able to cope with 8 tracks at a time.

I remember some coming up on here recently but can’t find them now!

Anything out there?

I use a core i5 in a Mac mini with 16GB ram and reaper. No problem with say 30 tracks with effects and record via a Zoom G5 usb. Handled Ableton lite and Cubase fine.

A friend using Windows 7 with core i5 and 24GB RAM had a free version of Cubase I think 6 and with the same Zoom pedal couldn't record if just a few tracks in there in Cubase. Switched to Ableton then Reaper and the CPU was hardly touched. So watch out with some versions of software.

We both had spinning rust then. I have SSD now. Good luck!

Hey buddy, I'm selling my old studio/gaming PC. Will list specs below, it's more than capable of handling most things you can throw at it. I mixed sessions upwards of 100+ tracks with at least 300 plugins going at once on it on a regular basis. Would be looking for about £300 or if you don't need the graphics card I'll do it for £225 (it's not crucial if you're not video editing or gaming, the CPU's built in gpu can handle general use well enough). Will come with a fresh Windows 10 install, ready to throw whatever software you need on it :)

    CPU: Intel i5 3570k 4cores, 4 threads @ 3.8ghz
    RAM: 16GB DDR3
    MOBO: ASRock Z77 Pro3
    GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390 8GB
Drives: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD, 500GB HDD
    Case: Bitfenix Neos black/red

Let me know if you're interested and I'll get some pictures for you

@liberascientia - sent you a couple of PM’s about the PC. Can you confirm it’s on its way as I’m away from Mon 23/12?
    Thanks

@liberascientia - still no sign of the PC and you aren’t replying to my messages. Is everything ok?
