1" or 3/4" rounding over bits for cab build

Can anyone give me some roundover bit recommendations?

I want to go for a 'Marshall' look on a cab I have just built but struggling to find a roundover bit of more than 1/2".  The only ones I have found are quite expensive or on ebay from sellers in Hong Kong and China.

Would you go for a 1" or 3/4"?

Anyone know a good place in the UK to buy router bits?  Need a 1/4" collet bit.

Do you have a link to the ones you have found? Most 1/4" shank router bits do not go over about a 1/2" roundover radius for safety reasons, also when dealing with roundovers 1" or larger manufactures say they must be used with a router table, not handheld.

I guess that if you're making a cab from 19mm material a 3/4" roundover is ample, as said it's a lot of material so multiple passes and a really light final pass for a good finish are a must. Definitely easier in a table with feather-boards for safety, if nothing else, just because you're looking at a higher power router to drive one of those so it's a bigger machine and probably around 2200W which can make a mess of a lot of things in a real hurry ( not least your under crackers if something goes awry)

You have to match the radius to the type of corner you intend to use.

@hywelg thanks, I was just going to tolex round the corners rather than using any corner protectors.

The mitres need to be very neat to get away with that.
