So my Belle Epoch Deluxe order cancelled - Volante bought. Am now overwhelmed.

So I've just cancelled it and bought a Strymon Volante. 

Coming on Wednesday. 

I don't know what I am doing. I've owned cars worth less. 

Someone who has one tell me how amazing it is.

It's a great pedal the Strymon; a wee bit of a learning curve, like most modern stuff - but the rewards are there to be had

I've never felt so intimidated by a pedal before. I don't really know where to start. 

Firstly to find a decent simple overdriven lead guitar delay that isn't mental.

Sounds lovely but all the presets seem to be a bit wacky. 

A bit worried now thinking all I needed was maybe the Belle Epoch Deluxe. Or maybe even the SA Collider.

Or an El Capistan! I had the Volante for a while and then realised I didn't need all those options, just short and long settings  so back to my trusty El Cap

I have one, and a real Binson. Its the closest thing to the real thing you can buy..... you've done the right thing.

I think if someone offered me a Belle Epoch Deluxe and £150 right now I'd go for it. 

But failing that I shall persevere. I eventually got the hang of deep editing on my old Source Audio Nemesis so how hard can this be?
