Oh boy!

This has had time, money, and attention to detail thrown at it in spades, and knocks spots off a masterbuilt, or any other higher end boutique built S-Type. It's a very accurate late '55 S-Type.

-Swamp ash Body in authentic aged 2 Tone Sunburst Nitrocellulose.
-7.25’' Radius Soft V-Shape Maple Neck Nitrocellulose finish aged
-Vintage correct frets
-Kluson “Single Line” Tuners.
-Pre-CBS Art of Aging Vintage correct UK Made Tremolo all correct specs and pat pending saddles.
-Pre-CBS Art of Aging Vintage Neckplate all correct specs.
-Art of Aging parts throughout. (also included is the back plate and screws, not pictured)
-Mojo UK 1950's Handwound Pickups
-CTS “TVT" True vintage taper Pots
Paper cap and cloth wired.

This was a no expense spared, luthier built relic done by “Art of Aging” themselves, using the best vintage spec parts and attention to detail. They originally advertised it as a '57, but it's more of a late '55 accurate clone.

Lightweight at only 7lb 1oz

Has some really interesting wiring as standard.

5-way is as follows...

Neck - Volume and 1st Tone as normal
Neck and Middle - Volume and 1st Tone as normal
Middle - Volume and both Tone controls, both tone controls work normally.
Middle and Bridge - Volume and both Tone controls, both tone controls work normally.
Bridge - Volume and 2nd Tone control, but Tone works in reverse, when the tone is wide open at 10 it acts as a kill switch. Roll the tone off anti clockwise and you get more tone and volume instead of less. It's an interesting combination, as you have a lot of control over the bridge pickup, and get some interesting sounds. Thought it might be a left handed pot at first, but it cant be, as it functions normally in other positions. Some crazy AOA trickery!. I've been playing this through a black face Twin, and the SRV tones are intense.

Art of aging parts alone are really expensive.

A whole build with this attention to detail... well it doesn't get any better.

Guitar is located in Fife, but I'm happy to post next day via UPS.

If you mean the frets and body/neck...they are answered in the updated description. I don't know the particular German luthiers name that made the body and neck. Barbara, at AOA was not shop/person specific when I asked, just that it was a German luthier from Hamburg.
