5 points @digitalkettle : Expressive. Good picking dynamics. Like the scrunchy bends. Nice tone
3 points @Barney : Another expressive melodic solo. Great phrasing and tone. Nicely understated.
1 point @soma1975 : And yet another expressive solo. Some neat little note flurries and nice melodies. Perhaps could concluded a bit better right at the end.

5 Points @fastonebaz Great playing, made me imagine DG perhaps consuming- let's say a strong coffee - backstage, which suddenly kicks in mid solo.

3 Points @Barney  Lovely melody and phrasing and a sense of space to the whole thing.

1 Point @soma1975  Very tasty melodic runs and nice phrasing.

5 points to @digitalkettle. Liked the start and those clean on edge strat tones.
3 points to @fastonebaz for some very tasteful tapping and those long stretched out bends at the start.
1 point to @stratman3142 for great tone and nice subtle use of the old trem.

Gotta say folks though that it was really hard to choose as all the entries were very good.

  • 5 Points @digitalkettle - Very tasteful, lovely tone and well executed. I'm amazed this is your first SOTM. You should definitely do more.

3 Points @Barney - Wonderfully expressive and very emotive. Like the atmospheric tone too.

1 Point @stratman3142 - Very beautiful sounding solo and lots of nods to D.G.

Wasn't easy sorting those top 3 out and everyone's contribution contained something special. Well done all.
