For the next one, I'll combine Riff of the Month (RotM), Raw Riff of the Month (RRotM) and Bass Riff of the Month (BRotM) into a single Riff of the Month Challenge. Let's see how that goes. 

Solo of the Month (SotM) still seems to be going strong.

I think your idea will work for guitar but I doubt any bass riffs will get votes. I'll promote the challenges on a few forums I'm on.

It would be good to get a section just for the challenges which are easier to find.
