A few photos/videos from a refinish of a black out Squier Baritone. An unusual model in so far as there is no Fender equivalent, though it seems that the Squier version was inspired by a custom shop model made for a relatively well known blues/roots player in the US (can’t think of his name off hand)

Finish was quite thick, like over 1.5 mm. A few irregularities to be filled on the five piece body. New colour is ocean turquoise metallic. Also going for a solid colour on the neck.

The guitar has a Sustainiac, Mastery bridge,  Duesenberg Tremola and bone nut installed The bridge pickup is a Fletcher humbucker. Though, in spite of all of the mods, straight out of the box this was a great guitar to begin with.
