The Vitoos ISO4 and DC8 are silent, even with high-current-draw digital pedals and close to their maximum output. I don't use anything other than 9V pedals any more, so the ISO4 does me just fine. The DC8 does the same thing, but can also do 12V and 18V.
They do that at ~£35. For reference, the same isolated output functionality would cost approximately £280 with a Gigrig setup.
Even if you take a different tack and talk about reliability, I could get two of any Vitoos PSU for £70 and spend 60 seconds swapping it out (wall wart, distributor or both) if there's a failure on stage, and save £210.
For what it's worth, I've had a Voodoo Lab PSU die on me, but never a Vitoos, and I've gigged them just as much. Anecdotal, but it's enough to convince me that any unit can die on you...and having a spare for the same money or less is worth far more than something that Internet wisdom says is better on the basis that it's more expensive.
