SOLD 2001 Les Paul Standard Honey burst. As good as any other I've played from this era, and a very comfortable 8lbs 10oz weight. All original including the hard case. Nice conditional overall with the odd sign of age related wear and some buckle rash on the back but no nasty big dings or damage. 1375 (+20 posted)

Last time I checked the vintage select 59 duo jet had been introduced in 2017, no? I bought one the year they came out, three years ago.

If that is a 2005 guitar then it is definitely differently spec'd when compared to a post 2017 59 vintage select.

I'm a tad confused @brooom. It came to me as a vintage select, seems to have similar attributes like the additional tone selector switch, vintage non pinned string spacer bridge,  TV jones classics, ebony fretboard. But it is a JT05 serial number. But I've also seen more than one other 05 identical ones on the net as vintage select. It just does'nt look like the regular G6128t especially with the extra switch. Any help from Gretsch buffs gratefully received!

59 vintage selects were introduced in 2017. They have a different body thickness (similar to vintage duo jets) different routing of the body a V neck profile and if I'm not mistaken different electronics. It also has a dark brown headstock (not black) and the neck joint pin.

Not sure about the 2005 models but hopefully someone will help with that.

Thanks to @brooom and @PC1971 for some help on the Gretsch. It looks like the 59 reissue they were doing in 2005 and to clarify it has the additional tone select switch, TV Jones Classic pickups, ebony fretboard, and vintage style string spacing bridge. Now priced at 1250

you don't really need to price it lower (to be honest I don't know what the current values are). I mean it's still a great guitar.
