As per title, I need inspiration for songs that our family can sing along to. Songs that work are: Dock of the bay, When you walk in the room, No woman no cry.
What is needed is more songs in that spirit - some that have recognisable and playable riffs [like When you walk in the room], songs that will help my wife's niece learn chords on the keyboard and songs that have lyrics on the internet where they can be accessed on an iPad.
If you know of such songs, please add the band or singer name on your favourite version if there are more than one released.
Thanks.

Well, my kids love it...
Stand By Me - Ben E King
Super simple, instantly recognisable bass line. Same thing all the way through mostly aside from the strings building throughout, and everyone knows at least some of the words already.
500 miles
A quick mix of old and new, but all relatively straightforward.
You need an idea of what you are going to do, but it should be a vague idea.

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.
is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?
