For younger readers, Eldorado was a godawful UK soap opera. It involved assorted ex-patriot characters, swanning about in Spain or Portugal and battling gamely with terrible scripts.

To be honest, I didn't see it, but as I also had a blue A610 at the time, I remember it's appearance!.

One time I was at Sound City in LA, about a year before it was closed, and one of those big American rock bands was tracking and we got to walk into the session and checkout the console on the understanding we didn't touch anything.

So I didn't touch anything, and I wasn't a knob, and this story wasn't worth reporting to you lot.

It was the most interesting thing in the show. Didn’t Jesse birdsall end up in that series bugs ,a U.K. series about high tech spooks?  I remember the woman having a toshiba libretto laptop the size of a large vhs case and thinking how awesome it was

KDH certainly hasn't been the first person to be smitten by the mighty online power of 'The Monkey Lord' and his simian army.  Just think back to the slating Henning Pauly gave to the Chapman guitars he reviewed, and his rapid deletion of the video and mealy-mouthed justification for doing so. All the signs of this being just another 'Mesa Cab Clone' moment.
