QOTSA No One Knows - time sig ?

(Inspired by the Time Signature discussion)

It feels weirdly Prog-like 11:8 (or something), but if you count it, it comes out as 4:4  (Sheet music versions all say 4:4).

Am I overthinking this ? Is it just the heavy syncopation of the riff(s) compared to the melody ?

I think its all in 4/4 just with different syncopation's and note subdivisions (quarter note triplets, etc)

It's just swinging 4/4. I guess you could call it 12/8 if you wanted?

No One Knows is 12/8. It has that shuffle going on in it.
