Been "umming and ahhing" about the Revival Drive for a while.

This is exactly what I was looking for out of this pedal......consider me convinced with a lighter bank balance.

According to the press release below from Revival Drive, only 250 custom editions and 250 standard units will be available worldwide.

Pre-order now made for the custom edition. Looks like my trusty AMT SS-11a is going on the chopping block  :#

Non hotrod version is lower gain, akin to Super lead, Plexis, Bassman Non master volume amps.

The hotrod version is based on amp circuitry of JCM 800, Soldano, Mesa, Bogner, more of an 80's hard rock sound

I've just bought one of the Custom big box ones but I don't think this one would tickle my fancy.

Aghhhh. Don't be hasty re. the SS-11a. One of the best live sounds I ever had was from that. An amazing pedal, but not very well known.

@hubobulous Thanks, that's all the persuading I needed......SS-11a going nowhere

I've been using it live for the last 3 years too.

At one gig, I was using it as the pre-amp into the return of a single channel valve amp and at the end of the gig a punter came up and complimented me on the sound and proceeded to take pics of the Marshall amp settings

Still going to try the Revival Drive Hotrod too though, nothing wrong with options.

I see origin effects have produced a small interface box too now that those of us who use switchers like GigRig/boss Es8 can interact with the RD I.e. changing channels. Just what I’ve been looking for ;)

I have it, and it's good but I'm on the waiting list for a MIDI box from a guy called Kossek FX that does a lot more than the box you can get from Origin Effects.

He said €110 delivered from Denmark.

I use a HXFX and it has two inputs for either expression pedal or amp control and I need one for an expression pedal, so I'm currently only able to switch channels and I do want the mid boost on both channels, and the Kossek FX MIDI pedal will allow me to change whatever I want in that regard.
