At last, a thread that'll  takes our minds off the woeful Chappers scandal.

  • Thanks guys , I wasn’t sure at first

I’ve previously had skb ones but the handle that sort of Velcro’s together was annoying and the tag that you pull on the zip broke off ,although they were super secure. Thought I would give these a go anyway as they fit all my different shaped guitars .

  • It’s getting a setup this week and trem blocked dive only. Loving the neck access.
im liking some of the new ones at NAMM . The rainbow crackle and the neon pink dinky .
the gus G San Dimas  too. A san Dimas with 24 frets and a soloist neck

Me too. It's a superb gig bag for the money.

Sounds like a bit of a winner both 1 and 2 guitar versions!  Is the front pocket strong enough to carry a small pedalboard/multifx plus cables?  So an all-in-one plus amp carry?

I'd say you wouldn't get a helix in the front pocket but a small multi FX, yes.  For a pedal board with a couple of Boss pedals, no, too wide

  • I think a multi fx 10” x 10” should fit , it looks like my boss gt1 will fit

Thank you. It’s one of the SLX series so not top end but I really like it .

the gator transit looked very good too, it had an extra removable pad at the top Nd a thick boot on the base ,more like a mono .  I would have got it but it seems to have had some strap failures and wear issues on Amazon .

I saw jackie Vincent and Johnny highland endorsing the pro go. Plus it seems well put together
i was a bit worried as the headstock on my jackson and my epi les Paul seems more vulnerable but I think it should be adequate for public transport/taxi etc.

Quite fancy one of these - I hear that if you remove the extra padding at the heel, it’ll take a Mustang Bass too, so could kill two birds with one stone for me.

Nothing wrong with the X series, I love my SL3X :)

  • I like the sl3x I had one in pink that I sold, wish I had kept it, my ulcer was playing up at the time and I wasn’t thinking straight. It was great

  • Nice! Mine is a bit more sedate than that:

I'm quite liking the 'stealth' look at the moment though, tbh

  • Proper metal looking that. Just looking at a soloist takes me back to the 80s lol

Meant to ask the OP - does the Gator Pro Go use YKK brand zips? Should have their brand either on the zip pulls or the reverse of the slider.
