Solderless Telecaster harness?

I’m about to buy a few more parts (well, most in truth...) to put together a Tele partscaster. I’ve had a few bad experiences with my own inept soldering and wondered if there are any disadvantages to solder less harnesses on eBay, etc? Look relatively simple but are there drawbacks?

if you don't use solder then you need a connector.

Drawback #4 - They come with EMG pickups. Ho-ho!

In all seriousness, I am enormously fond of the EMG-FT pickup. I do not rate the EMG-RT at all. It is, basically, an EMG-SA in a Telecaster-shaped plastic housing. Sounds nothing like a proper Telecaster.

Either practice soldering until you are confident in your abilities or pay a professional tech to do the job for you.

I can solder quite well, but in the spirit of experimentation I've bought an EMG T set for my current build. Came with the solder less cables and connectors.
I'll report back when it's fitted and tested.
To be fair it all looks pretty neat and robust.
