I don't want to seem cold, but I don't get it when people say it's a loss for comedy/rock/film/whatever when old people die, as if they're still active. Of course I have no idea if Terry Jones was still active, so I'm going to look like a monster when someone tells me he was halfway through his magnum opus.

Terry Jones holds a special place in a lot of people's hearts, especially those who grow up on Python. It has saddened me greatly to hear of his passing. RIP Terry and thanks for all the laughs.

I just seem cold, I’m actually a humanist. We should celebrate Terry Jones‘s life in comedy for sure, he made a significant contribution.
