NPD. Got me a EHX Mono Synth.

Spunked the last of my burpday cash, only £69 so I caved.

Never thought I'd replace my old 90's big box ehx micro synth, had the thing since forever. But...it's massive and I fancied summat I could plug an expression pedal into, has a preset for each mode and is simples to use. The Boss SY-1 just has too much going on for what I need. 

The Mono is fucking hilarious, once I got the hang of playing to it's strengths the learning curve is pretty quick. Even when the tracking inevitably goes a bit wobbly it still enduces a grin.

The expression pedal works well for filter sweeps and modulation speed changes, I really bonded with it this afternoon.

Anyone fancy first dibs my old Micro Synth before I list it?

I fancy the Mono Synth too but I think I still really like the Synth 9. Seems the right balance to me. Much easier than the fricking Enzo too

Yeah, ummed n ahhed over the Synth9. No exp in though, watched loads of demos of all the recent crop of synth stuff. That Enzo is insane.
