How can they afford to pay him plus his guitar tech to come over from LA?

He wanted to do more live gigs. If you follow his YouTube channel he mentions he does actually play live that often. Let's face it, he's going to be able to learn those songs in a few days.

I'm off to see the show in February and can't wait.

Indeed. The singers really blew me away and it's been well put together and at Cadogan Hall, London, it was a perfect sound
