LAG Roxane Racing RR2000 - Vintage Yellow - £600 SOLD

Purchased from this very parish in as new-ish condition and had it fettled by Nige and Danny at Leicestershire Luthier. They've worked their magic and this guitar plays like a dream as they did an optimised fret dress and set up to get it just right. They were super impressed with the construction when they had it, they gave the whole guitar the once over to make sure all was well. That cost me a fair chunk of change however at least the buyer knows its A1 when it arrives. 

So on to the guitar, handmade in France and comes with a certificate of authenticity and leather LAG gigbag specially made for this model. This RR2000 was a limited run designed with a motorsports theme so it has an enamelled aluminium scratchplate,plus aluminium control and truss rod covers which are specially engraved. The Bigsby is a USA one, it has all Schaller hardware, and the pickups are Seymour Phat Cat P90's. It's a lot of spec for the money, and weighs around 7.8lbs. It has a tummy contour and also some contouring around the top.

These were/are around £1450 New and in Mint Condition - this one is in excellent condition with some signs of use, so I'm looking for £600 firm collected from Leicestershire, I can ship at cost if that's required. This is an awesome guitar for not much money. Happy to deliver within a reasonable distance too, I'm working towards the East and South East coasts on and off so can deliver there as well. I'm selling because even though I got a second wind for this and love, love, love it. I prefer my Les Pauls so get it while it's hot!

Amazing guitar, if you're looking you probably know all about these and you're aware that the neck is something else, and I don't get on with soft Vs normally! Lovely waxed/oiled neck, perfectly balanced, HSS EMG setup sounds amazing, lovely blue metallic finish and a vintage style trem that works. Very little fret wear, some playing marks but nothing insane. Only bad points are that there is a small crack in the poly at the neck pocket (happens a bit on these due to tight tolerances at the neck pocket), and there's only 2 trem springs that's about it really. 

It's an amazing guitar but I just have too many guitars and therefore need to rationalise, lovely as this is my R8 and DGT are always out so unfortunately Luke loses out! SOLD!!

I picked this up in a trade somehow thinking it would suit me better when really I should remember that me and Strats don't get on! Anyway, it's a thing of beauty to look at, fine relic job and sounds very much like a perfect Strat as you would expect.
