Black Fenix bass, probably from the early 90's. Made in Korea at the Young Chang factory, where Fender and Squier instruments were also produced to a similar high standard. Features Precision and Jazz style pickups, sound great. Knobs and selector switch  have been replaced with Fender style metal ones, white plastic originals can be included if you want them. The bass is in excellent condition for an instrument nearly 30 years old, and has been recently restrung and set up. Comes with a shaped old hard case, probably 70's vintage! Case is a bit road worn but does the job.

NOW SOLD!

Apparently they got the Fender/Squier blueprints and then started producing their own-brand miraculously similar instruments!

Similarly, the original Squier Vintage Modified bass guitars bear an uncanny resemblance to the Signature brand.

As part of the C&D settlement, Fender acquired the Signature tooling.
