My Fender American Series Precision Bass White Blonde Tort and Rosewood (1999)

rze99rze99 Frets: 2283

This is a touch unusual being white blonde ash with rosewood. You can just see the grain in some lights. These pics make it a little lighter than it is in the flesh. Very few of these as far as I can tell.

I just play bass for fun and on recordings.  This has old flats on it and it does that deep warm Motown thump and bump wonderfully. Lovely smooth very dark chocolate rosewood with hints of chestnut. Ebony wood pull bar. Very nice pickups and has a sort of vintage vibe look without being vintage or a reissue.

    It's a clean machine, for sure. :)

If the finish has not discoloured to a more milky yellow appearance, it is probably never going to. i.e. It is poly rather than nitro-cellulose.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

That’s a beauty; exactly what a P Bass should look like. I love an ash body on a bass, don’t know if it’s imagination, but they seem to sound brighter. Lovely dark fretboard too, very cool.  :)
